Asquith & Berowra

Classes & group programs

Small-group classes and structured exercise programs, led by our physiotherapists and exercise physiologists. Group sessions, but tailored to your individual needs.

Clinical Pilates

Physiotherapist-led small groups at Asquith and Berowra.

Clinical Pilates at Dynamic Motion is a one hour, physiotherapist-led group class running at our Asquith and Berowra clinics. Groups are deliberately small, a maximum of eight at Asquith and six at Berowra, so your physiotherapist can watch how you move and change an exercise mid-class. It is mat based, using bands, straps, balls and rings rather than reformer machines, and everyone starts with a one-to-one physiotherapy assessment.

Dynamic Movers

Strength, balance and confidence for older adults.

A one-hour group class led by a physiotherapist or an exercise physiologist, built around strength, endurance, flexibility and balance. It’s aimed at staying steady on your feet, supporting bone health and managing chronic conditions, and it’s as much a social hour as a workout. This is comfortably our biggest program, running most weekday mornings and afternoons.

Fit 4 Life

Your own program, in our gym, with support on hand.

Fit 4 Life isn’t a class – it’s supervised access to our gym, working through a program written for you by an accredited exercise physiologist. It suits people who want more than a home exercise sheet, and equipment they won’t have at home. Session numbers are capped, so you’re not waiting to use anything.

How it works

  1. Initial assessment. An hour with an accredited exercise physiologist to go through your goals and build your program.
  2. Gym orientation. A 30-minute one-to-one run-through of the program, so you know exactly what you’re doing.
  3. Train. Book your gym sessions online or at the clinic and work through your program.
  4. Reassess. A 30-minute check-in every 10 to 12 weeks to measure progress and update the program.

Pacing with POTS

A physiotherapy group for POTS and long-Covid fatigue.

A small physiotherapy-led group built around pacing: working within your current limits and building capacity gradually. It runs at Asquith with the lighting down, the music low and at a time of day when the clinic is quiet, so the room itself isn’t adding to the load.

Physiotherapist-led classes through pregnancy and after birth.

A physiotherapist-led group class for women who are pregnant or recovering after birth. It runs at the Hornsby clinic under Women’s Health Matters, the women’s health arm of Dynamic Motion, and is led by physiotherapists who also work across Dynamic Motion. Everyone starts with a one-to-one assessment.

Getting started

How to join a class

Classes start with a one-to-one appointment. It’s how we work out which group suits you and what your program should look like, so the class itself is never a guess.

01

Book an assessment

Book an initial appointment online, or call your clinic and mention that you’re interested in classes. No referral needed.

02

Chat with our team

Your physiotherapist or exercise physiologist talks through what you’re after, works out what you need and decides which group fits, including whether a class is the right idea at all yet.

03

We fit you in

Classes aren’t booked online. Your physiotherapist or exercise physiologist places you in a class that suits you and sorts the times out with you from there.
